Anime Expo 2004 Report (Sachi)

AnimeExpo2004 has made a record of 25,000 attendees, and my guess will be because SEKI TOMOKAZU graced the convention with his presence as Guest of Honor! Personal Experience:

Note: Please be noted that this is my own experience, and there is a lot of fangirling in here. Therefore insanity reins.

I went to the Meet the Guest Panel! ..OMG... Seki is TEH most wonderful...gorgeous... in person... there was like loads of fangirls surrounding him (DUH!), and his table stole most of the attention away that I did felt sorry for the other guests... ^_^; Anyways, he DYED his hair blonde!! *o* Ahh... it'll make a fangirl SWOON just to hear him and see him... I swear I really would have... to be right there in front of him, soon right next to him...hear him... *sigh* fans were asking him questions (there was a translator, of course XD) and also asked him to role as Shuichi, Kyou, Kamui, Chichiri, and even to sing! He sang parts of Kimi Ga Iru and FY's Kachou Fugetsu. Kyaa~~~~ I gave him the picture of Sapphi I drew for him and as well as my friend Iko's CG picture [it had six Seki role characters on it! VERY pretty]! When he suddenly talked about Anime Tenchou, my sis Echiko and I went, "ANIME TENCHOU!" in the silence...Seki and everyone laughed ^^;;;;; (we'll we got his attention!) He was talking about how he enjoyed singing most of the songs on the drama series, and when I mentioned "Yuuyake Tenchou?" He said he enjoyed singing that song X3 WAI! I talked to him~~~~~~ HEhehehe, he also said Yamaguchi Kappei gave him the nickname "Chichi", which has the same kanji as "Tomo", so that he won't get mixed up with Seki Toshihiko.

-- Seki's First Kiss?
A funny thing that was mentioned was about his FIRST kiss - it was with a boy XD He said it was back in four grade when this boy said he just learned how to kiss and then said, "I want to try it out, don't care if it's a girl or boy!" and then he went up to Seki and kissed him. Seki said it was so good it was bad XD He actually mentioned this in the Club Escaflowne interview before.

-- Questions at the Reception
Alright, here were the questions I asked him

Q1: You know the Drama CD VERSUS-2 with Koyasu? What is your comment about? [Note: why I ask? cuz the drama is FUNNY.]
A: It was very fun to do, and when I'm writing the scripts/stories with Koyasu-san, it becomes easier and easier everytime.

Q2: Do you know Hoshi Souichirou? How is it like to work with him? [both me and my sister HAD to ask]
A: Yes! Especially since we're the same age, we're great friends. Sometimes in the studio, both of us will fall asleep on the table, and we'll be nudging each other to stay awake ^^;
[OMG, that's SO cute *_*]

Q3: Could you say a script that Sapphirus from Apocripha/0 said? [HAD to! a Sapphirus cosplayer here and his role was sexy!]
A: [He said he forgot most of the scripts.but I requested him to say, "Hajimemashite! Sapphirus to mou shimasu!" It sounded SOOOOOO kakkoi and kawaii!! and then he went, "oh no! I don't have the face for it!" and then he took Iko's picture in front of him and waved cuz Sapphi was on it XD Everyone squealed! Seki said my Japanese was good *_* /swoons/]

Q4: Seki-san has been in a few shonen-ai/BL series. If you don't mind me asking, were you embarrassed? Was is scary? Or did you think it was fun? [Iit was so embarrassing... and everyone squealed when it was asked... >///<]
A: E~tou~~In the beginning, it wasn't that embarrassing actually, but recently, it's been kinda difficult. There seems to be more roles that need to be more...off the board... more H. Sometimes it feels like they are going into my private life ^^; [and when a fan went "HMMM..." he went, "*laughs!* don't go imagining!"]

Q5: You know the Weiss interview that you said if you confronted Ken, you'll put kids on your shoulder and shin and front and back? Is it true that you'll do that? XD [Echiko asked this! Everybody laughed.]
A: Well... ^^; I'm facing an assassin, right? Most likely, I'll do that, but probably I will be killed before I can do that XD

-- PANEL EXPERIENCE

we went to line up for the Seki Focus Panel ^_____^ Kyaa~~~ Shu-chan and her buddies let us cut behind ;_; and they were near the front too~~ kyaa!!! I love them!!!!! There were 700+ fans in that room! They gave gifts to him too! They were all cheering and holding up signs and you know, be fans of Seki~ One GUY went, "WE LOVE YOU!" and everyone cheered again XDD Everyone loves Seki! Seki starts off with saying "Hi!" and "How are you?" in English X3

After the sugoi panel, everyone quickly rushed downstairs to the back of Hall B to get his autograph. Remember now, we did not eat lunch yet, so during the wait in line, we went to buy lunch (Shadow and I took turns) ^^ WAI!! Thank God we were not the second half of the LONG line, because it was so long that they had to cut it off. Yay!!! We got the Seki's autograph on the Apocripha/0 pencilboard underneath Sapphi!! But...poor Seki ;___; he looked soo tired... it was over an hour of signing for him! We said, "Arigatou Gozaimasu!!" loud to him ^^ OMG, i love Seki even more now...

So afterwards, after saying goodbye to dearest Shu-chan and Shadow, Echiko and I went back to the hotel to take a nap before the Cosplay Masquerade. Demo, on the way, we met Alex and her friends again!!! ^o^ Kyaa! Alex was dressed up as HANAGATA of SMJ for the Masquerade. One of her friends carried a stuff animal that she asked Seki to KISS, and he did!! I kissed it, so I got an indirect kiss from Seki. WAAIII~~~ *SWOONS* I can almost die happy now... what I'm missing?
